ASU Space Student Ambassadors form a strongly bonded, cross-disciplinary network of current undergraduates who represent ASU Space‘s mission to students, faculty, staff, external organizations and industry partners.

Eligibility requirements

To become an ASU Space Student Ambassador, you must:

  • Be an ASU undergraduate student at Tempe, Downtown, Polytechnic or West campus.
  • Be in 3rd, 4th or 5th+ year by fall semester (based on academic progression, not total credits).
  • Maintain good academic standing.
  • Show demonstrated interest in space sector career pathways.

As an ASU Space Student Ambassador, you will:

  • Attend weekly Monday meetings (3–4:00 p.m.)
  • Commit 10+ hours monthly to ambassador work.
  • Develop strategies to engage ASU students in space opportunities.
  • Promote ASU Space events to peer networks.
  • Represent ASU Space at three events per semester.
  • Participate in assigned cohort projects.

  • Applications open mid-spring semester for next academic year’s cohort. 
  • Initial screening is followed by in-person interviews.
