About
What are the governance and economic structures we can use to best integrate space into a local economy, using the case of Arizona?
Integrating Space in the Local Economy addresses the challenges of space commercialization within Arizona. Traditionally, space has been dominated by national interests, with commercialization focused on fulfilling government-driven needs through privately funded services and technology. Now, there’s a unique opportunity to broaden space commercialization beyond government requirements. Achieving this requires strengthened polycentric governance, enabling diverse governance bodies to collaborate and generate benefits at national, local and regional levels.
