About

How do we establish real property rights in space?

Lunar property rights present a complex and debated issue, raising questions about the legality and feasibility of commercial and international entities extracting and using moon resources. As space exploration technologies progress, the need for clear and equitable laws and regulatory frameworks to govern lunar resource rights becomes increasingly vital to ensuring sustainable and responsible space activities. This project aims to catalog and assess all known lunar resources and their current rights, providing a systematic approach to understanding existing property rights in lunar resource utilization. The outcome will be a dynamic, periodically updated schematic of lunar resources, serving as a reference guide for the evolving field of space resource management.
