How do we become better stewards of “Spaceship Earth”?

Inspired by traditional spacecraft operations centers like NASA’s Mission Control Center at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, we collaborated with MIT and NASA to develop an operations center for “Spaceship Earth” that integrated Earth systems and economic modeling. This Earth science research center tracks the health and status of Earth’s ecological subsystems, enabling collaborative decision-making using both virtual and physical spaces.
