Thanks to innovative new devices that listen for sounds of deforestation - from logging to burning - the rainforest can now “listen in” and alert conservationists. (But can they distinguish between real logging and Amazon parrots mimicking logging sounds? Because my friend’s parrot sounds just like the microwave.)
